https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/report-miami-heat-to-pursue-chris-paul-this-summer/ar-AACAiH2 Time will tell
Ehh... "The Heat is expected to check in with Houston on available players (Chris Paul, P.J. Tucker, Eric Gordon) but not sure there’s an ideal match there. Memphis’ Mike Conley remains among several possibilities."
Methinx The Godfather may try and engage in a bad contracts-for-bad contract discussion. CP3 the Summer of '19 consolation prize?
its one of those things where rockets get shafted to help the miami heat. I doubt houston gets a good offer from miami, its probably something like Dragic and one of there bad contracts. I just hang up the phone, plus they want us to throw them gordon and tucker so they can be relvant in the east? lol
but we'll need that cash to dump the bad contracts we sign or trade for.....to get back under the taxline
Oh so hes basicly saying we take on paul big contract, if you give them gordon/tucker. And we just get back Whiteside/Dragic??? Would have to include som exiring contracts i suppose. Would have Probably include Richerson/Waiters to make salaries work. Of course they probably stick you with taking on Johnson/Anderson contract, thats when houston probably will say no lol. Sounds like a alot of dumping to get better for 2020.
I'd do Paul and Tucker for Dragic, Olynk, Winslow. You get to unload Paul's contract. Dragic and Winslow only have 1 year left and Olynk will be better defensive rebounder than Tucker. Defensive rebounding was our achilles hill all last year. Move Harden back to point, Dragic would be a better compliment to Harden. I think this is a better lineup than last year and gets rid of Paul's albatross contract. Our defense does get worse, but our offense and defensive rebounding would be better. Dragic Harden Winslow Capella Olynk Gordan Re-signed Rivers Clarke House Hartenstein

Yeah that is pretty gud. Morey would get all that exiring money, plus chance to run with actually a better team.
MSN twisted the Miami Herald report quite a bit to come up with that headline. News regurgitators are the worst. I changed the thread title.
