He played with alot of perseverance. I was think Pat Bev could match that and take this team to another 22+ winning streak.
I've also seen him post NBA career at one of the H town airports (i think it was IAH), he was very accessible and really cool.
Glad he's a cool dude. In interviews he came across as a quiet, even a bit distant type of guy so wondered what he was like in real life. Loved his fire, competitiveness and skill set. Too bad that 3pt shot was a 360 degrees motion with both arms swinging and that tear drop / floater was more often miss than make. Other than that, he was great and his passing and leadership were undervalued and understated. He was a great floor general, I'd say one of the best in Rockets history. He really rallied guys together, put them in their positions, told Yao where to go and do his thing. One of my favourite players to watch because of his mentality.
How you not include Yao here - he birthed the very terms we're all familiar now with X-only fan. YOF and YOH. Remember that pruyen poster? Good times.
Excellent posts and passing to the post! Skip is a good example for coaches to prove to young players that "You likely won't be a legend... but u can master freelance streetball and also be highly successful with organized professional basketball" just stay out of fights
