I hope Melo and PG enjoy watching THIS night in and night out. They will be WB's towel boys, helping him get his double-doubles PASS IT TO RUSSELL! PASS IT TO RUSSELL!
Facts are facts. Clint gobbles rebounds at a similar rate to Hakeem Olajuwon, yet you said that Clint is a "very poor rebounder". 18.6 Career TRB% (Clint) 17.2 Career TRB% (Hakeem) Embarrassing Chip.
Deos any1 think morey might do a trade to move ryno before the reg season? or nah we just roll with what we have?
Rasaq bro, chill with the sky is falling, your better than this. Yeah they both avg 8.1rbds a game. But harden played 36.4mpg compared to capelas 23.9mpg Per 100 harden avg 10.7 vs capela at 16.3 Reb %s Harden - 3.5 orb%, 20.9 drb%, 12.2 trb% Capela - 12.5 orb%, 24.5 drb%, 18.5 trb% Quit being facetious abot capela and his rebounding which is of th beat in the league. And he is a decent pnr defender which is what we want
Don't think sky is falling. Just don't feel the team will be as competitive as some say. Would you pay Capela 4 years / 120 mill ?
The PNR defense is the huge part. We get destroyed by GSW If we don't have guys that can switch everything. Clint isn't perfect, but he has nimble feet to slide with just about anyone, kind of like Tristan Thompson.
I am not saying Capela is untouchable, but the idea of moving him for Carmelo in 2017 is a non-starter for me. He provides so much on both ends of the court. The Rockets spacing is not only a product of the outside shooting. The pressure Capela puts on defenses to account for him finishing at the rim will only increase with Chris Paul. Look at what Paul has done for Deandre Jordan. Defensively, Capela is the one rim protector we have and has shown the ability to switch which is vital to slowing down high octane offenses like the Warriors, or Spurs. So, if we are going to move a player like that- and one who is still young and has improved in leaps and bounds every year- it had better for a significant piece. In my opinion, Carmelo Anthony is not that guy. Capela is not untouchable, few players are, but I think the all-in move using him would have to be for a player like Boogie Cousins.
Who says we will have to? What has Noel got in an almost similar situation and player? Who tf is paying 30m per for capela??? Chill bro. I see a cap of 4/80 and in this offense with capela and harden, yeah it's worth it.
don't see what the point would be, he won't bring back anything good, and he is really useful for us even tho he can't hit his shots at home David Aldrige said on NBA TV that he could've brought things like Delavedova or Asik in a 3 team deal
the Capela will for sure get the max talk is just fear mongering...if he does get a max then that means he blew up and became a lot better I see 17-18 mil/yr for Capela if he has a nice season...max if he blows up and becomes all star caliber
The sky isn't falling. Heck, we may be better off without the guy. As for OKC, I think we'll end up with a better record and advance further in the playoffs. I also doubt if Morey is through. It might not be until the deadline, but a significant deal wouldn't surprise me.
