Lol the Knicks will likely be worse this year than last year when Melo couldn't even drag them into the playoffs in the East.

All about winning my ass. When the Knicks fail to land Durant in 2016 he will be begging for a trade again.

this is why you don't want a guy like this in the first place. He's more concerned with his own image, being the face of a team and chucking than anything else.

Players can never win with fans.

If a player accepts highest offer = he doesn't value winning or is only in it for money.

If a player chooses to go join an already elite team or other superstars, leaving his original team = Sell-out, ring chaser, band-wagoner, or not a true superstar.

If a player chooses bigger markets over smaller ones = fame-seeker, not serious about winning.

If he wants to be face of team= selfish, glory-hog, a possible cancer, and in some cases, not serious about winning.

If a player doesn't choose your favorite team = He SUCKS.

This is not breaking news. He has been expected to sign there for awhile now. Breaking news is when he actually agrees to a contract or is signed.

CHAMPIONSHIPS W/ AMARE, TYSON AND FELTON!

Oh wait, that was in 2011. Maybe Phil Jackson and D-Feesh will let you touch their rings.

Carmelo will never win in NYC without some major help. I'm sure he's thinking that he'll take his guaranteed money and then make a fuss if he wants a trade out of there.

    Stars and their ego.

    "I want to be wooed."

The Rox did its due diligence, but this is part of the reason why these "stars" get so much hate.

...yawn. He'll be the only major player from that historic draft class to never win a ring.

It was never about winning. Money was first, and staying home was 2nd. Winning in NY would be just cherry on top.

    $50 million is huge.
