Theoretically, If it costs (2)- 1st round picks to move Ryno's $40 million, shouldn't it cost (6)- 1st round picks to save $130 million?
Actually, if we factor in potential luxury tax I believe it's more than 40 million but I'm not Bimathug so I'm not going to bother estimating how much more.
The Windy City is such a weird nickname for a city. Maybe we should start referring to Houston as The Humid City.
Wrong. Most people pointed out that Paul was an elite mid range shooter and figured he’d have a green light. Melo is an inefficient scorer from mid range, unlike Paul, but loves to take them
Ten years from now this contract will be on "worst contracts of the decade" retrospectives. Though I realize that the NBA is handing out so many bad contracts the last 3 years that these "lists of top worst ____" will get cluttered in a hurry. Instead of articles, they might be a full hardback book! CRIKEY.
It's Presti, dude should have called every possible team by now and should be waiving him by Monday, he'll clear by Tuesday and sign with you guys or the Lakers by Thursday.
Melo's role would be doing what both Ryno and Iso Joe were supposed to provide. Spreading floor, pick n pop, 3rd creator, iso threat.
He's said he doesn't want a role like that. That's his issue in OKC: he doesn't like being the 3rd option. He wants a lot of touches and isolations and contested mid-range jumpers.
