I'd take Melo in a heartbeat, especially if we could keep Lowry. I doubt the Knicks trade either of them in the near future, considering all the hype and all they gave up to get the two together (not just the trade for Melo, but all the ****ty seasons to clear cap space for a big FA)

I humbly disagree Clutch. I think they would be more than willing to trade Amare. He is basically useless in that offense right now. He doesn't get many touches because the offense is running through melo. Amare is beast if healthy did you watch him last year before they acquired melo ? People were saying he was the MVP of the league. It's a risky proposition to acquire melo but at this point it could pay dividends if he is in the right offense and healthy. As far as Melo the Knicks would never trade him to the point is moot.

We have what NY needs for Carmelo Anthony. I wouldn't give up Lowry, ever. And I don't know if I'd want Melo on the team. But if he were shipped to a third team that had what we wanted---whomever that might be----then, yeah, I'd be in on that action.

But the star allure of Carmelo is too much for the Knicks to give up.

And forget Amar'e. If a player on the court farted next to him, Stoudemire would fall to pieces like the T-1000 when frozen near the end of Terminator 2.

I hope you put your flame suit on because saying Melo is the best 'offensive' player in the league is just ignorant.

If Anthony is your best player, you'll be riding that mediocre windmill for a long time.

    No to both.

Pass on both. Give me Tayshaun Prince, an improved Marcus Morris and Omar Asik in free agency this summer to pair with The Bear and this team is set.

    Lowry/Dragic
    Martin/Lee
    Prince/Morris/Parsons
    Scola/Patterson/Hill
    Dalembert/Asik/Greg Smith

and the Knicks pick and our pick (if we get it)

I'm sure the Knicks would love their pick back at this point. Probably not enough to give up Melo, though.

That mediocre windmill is the worst. If I only had a cool pic to illustrate.

Not sure you can call one year a career no matter what he accomplished.

Not Amare thats for sure. His stats are in the Scola range for a max contract. Thats a guy who is definitely regressing in his career. Amare might have seen his last good year last year.

LOL if he was so damn clutch:

    1. The Knicks won't have a 6 game losing streak
    2. He won't have a TS% of 0.512.
