DD, you're going to sit there and say that Anderson and Melo are interchangeable? Seriously? I can understand someone not liking Melo's personality, but there's no way you equate these two as players.
They are not but you got to get what he is saying. Melo as a Rocket, as a 3rd option would have to shoot lots of 3s.. or get the layup. That is exactly the kind of game of Anderson who would be a 4th option...... That is a similar role, of course Melo can make clutch shots and fadeaways, which Anderson probably could not fathom to do that much. In this system Melo isn't asked to do too much any way. And he said he wants to get rid of Anderson, that's what everyone here is hoping for. For a good player.
I think Melo is more physically ready to play defense. As the third wheel he will have to play defense to not get yelled at.
Putting these losses on Melo is absurd. He has a specific role on the team (be Ryan Anderson) and he can't play that role without CP3 and Harden being on the court.
