Unnatural burnt tan combined with numerous plastic surgeries is attractive? I guess our standards of beauty are different from yours.
I'm not fat. On the contrary, we feel sorry for that nice woman, Melania. Trump's team screwed her on national TV! Speechwriter incompetent? Team Trump incompetent.
Trump could have just fire the speech writer, something he's well known for, and move on. But no, he couldn't take any responsibility for the mess up and went on the attack, which continue the press coverage.
Baby she got sex appeal. Dat hip2waist. Name 1 american public figure in the last 20 years who beats her.
Sucks, but she's not applying for anything and it's not a dissertation. Honestly just send these b****es out of the country on vacation for a year.
Trump is a terrible person. I feel like I know that from primary sources. I don't really know much about Melania or his children. I might make some assumptions by her decision to marry someone like Trump, but they'd only be assumptions. I'm joking. The Michelle Obama language she plagiarized was so trite and tired, it hardly feels like it matters. It's not exactly Watson and Crick stealing credit for discovering the double helix. But, this would never have happened to Michelle Obama because she is a very intelligent and capable woman. Michelle has been a credit to Obama throughout his presidency. If Obama was married to Melania instead, it'd make a lot of people think somewhat less of him.
Can you imagine if Michelle Obama modeled half naked while holding pistols? Lol the Republican platform is so hypocritical. Party of family and god my ass...
Agree with your positive view of Mrs. Obama, but if you remember back in the run up to the convention, right wing critics were all over Michele Obama ("she is angry", "she wasn't proud of the US", etc). I suspect the speech she gave at the convention was intended to soften the broader audience opinion of her.
I think this is a big deal. Why? Because it reflects just how bankrupt Trump and Trump's campaign is. They are so devoid of original ideas that they felt it necessary to plagiarize a speech from the President's wife in exactly the same situation in 2008. I don't blame Trump's wife. She didn't write the speech. That's perfectly obvious. In fact, I would feel a little sorry for her for being placed in this absurd situation if her husband wasn't such a complete and utter ass.
I've worked on federal campaigns in the past. We had 10+ people review and edit speeches with this kind of magnitude. There's no way something this blatant would ever make it to the light of day. If anything this shows that there are a bunch of unprofessional idiots in major positions in the Trump campaign. And this is the guy who says he'll surround himself with "the best people."
I'm not voting for Trump and have many anti-Trump posts over many months to back that up. His campaign screwed up royally setting her out there to read that speech. Having said that, this "scandal" reeks of stupidity...some on the part of the Trump campaign for letting her go out there and make that speech...but more on those making an issue out of it. She's not a politician, and she's never had to make a big speech like this before. People will be willing to give her a break especially given the fact the lines lifted were a small portion of the speech AND that she is a likeable person. This entire thing is pure politics. 15 font headlines on CNN stating "PLAGARISM" in red is over the top really. Voters want to focus on the real problems we all face and are sick of politics. Attacking Melania Trump is a bad idea politically. She's one of the likeable parts of his campaign. Continue to attack her at your own risk media.
People are not attacking Melania. They are saying Trump's campaign is incompetent to the point that 1) they are stealing from Democrats' speeches, 2) they threw Trump's innocent wife under the bus on national TV.
Maybe. Regardless Melania Trump is right in the middle of it, is getting hurt by it and the voters recognize it. And they also recognize who is driving this...and it isn't the Trump campaign.
