I hope The Rockets didn't see this. When they are the favorites, they play like the other team is supposed to let them win.
Wow, I'm surprised at how many are picking the Rockets in 5. That 3-1 series win is a little deceptive. The 3rd win was in OT and took a miraculous comeback. These teams are very evenly matched. I still say Rockets in 6(going 7 would not surprise me at all though). If they win in 5, it means they're not only healthy but playing very well which means they'd have a really good shot at knocking off the Spurs in the next round.
The Rockets played like trash and still won the last game against Portland. I think that showed that they are a better team just as much as the other two wins did.
Well frankly they played like trash in a lot of games recently and still won(New Orleans, Denver, Portland). I just hope they don't try that in the playoffs or they'll get burned. I agree they're a better team than Portland, but I don't think it's a huge gap. The reason the Rockets will likely win in the end is that their big man/guard duo is better than the Blazers'.
I wouldn't be mad if someone picked Portland because I think they are a very good team. But Ken Berger just still mad at Dwight for leaving LA.
People forget that Portland finished really well because they really did not have any injuries, besides LA being injured for some games. I think they only used a total of 2 different starting lineups this year. I don't think they have that second gear that the Rockets have...
Lilliard will be contained. Aldrige will get his. But the REAL threat will be Mo Williams & Wesley Mathews. I have a feeling either one of these two will have a career game or 2 this series
