Yeah, this is as ridiculous as saying Brady is only good because of Belichick's system. It's a credit to both of them how well they fit together. Instead of praising both the design and execution of the system, this is something we're taking off points for now? GTFO.
The same MDA that coached Kobe in Los angeles and had a terrible record. Oh yea it was his system. STFU and go slobber on Lebrons stuff.
this is embarrassing lol They are all reading from talking points! How hard is it to see that Harden avg 29ppg before MDA got there?? It would take someone 4 secs
These clowns don’t know whether they are coming or going. The great media has labeled Harden as garbage or trash in previous years. So instead of admitting being wrong.....it’s just easier to give credit to a guy the media labeled as toxic as a coach in years past. Mike D’Antoni minus facial hair. Classic case of Pogonophobia at its finest. Fear of beards. https://www.google.com/search?q=pic...8&hl=en-us&client=safari#imgrc=70ZQboGEDVYy-M:
just gonna re-post what I said yesterday D’antoni gets too much credit for what Harden is doing...Harden is in isolation an insane amount of the time, and he takes a ton of off the dribble/highly contested shots...only 27% of his threes are assisted as opposed to other high volume 3 point shooters like Steph and Dame who get 62% and 41% of their threes assisted and aren’t in isolation nearly as much as Harden is some of these fools act like Harden is getting all these wide open shots and D’antoni is making the game so easy for him because of his system...nah, Harden is just so great that he makes it look easy...we’re not even running Mike’s 7SOL offense like back in PHX most guys could not thrive with the type of shots that Harden gets and is constantly taking Curry plays in a great system alongside multiple stars that also enhances his numbers, but that never gets brought up... Harden was already capable of averaging 30 ppg or 7-8 assists before D’antoni...he was already a top 5, MVP caliber player before his system if Harden went from a dude who was barely top 15 to easily in the top 5 right after playing for Mike then maybe they’d have a point, but that’s not the case
Hmmm. Funny you don't hear that for kwahi who has arguably the best coach of all time.... F*** their opinion. We know whats up here
Harden plays an important part too in buying into MDA's system and should deserve credit! Did Carmelo had an MVP year when D'antoni was there?! I'm amazed on how these so called analysts keep getting rich by saying BS! They have the best job in the world! I would be fired if I'm keeping on talking non-sense like them.
The media is running out of fake narratives to slander Beard. Kudos to Beard for taking the media salt in his stride. A1 sauce >>>>>>>> media salt.
Chris Broussard on D'Antoni's comment that Harden is the 'best offensive player ever: " The system takes you to another level offensively. Steve Nash, with the all respect, I dont think he would be a Hall of famer that that he is going to be if he hadnt going to D'Antoni, let alone a 2x MVP."
Steve Nash gets disrespected so much by the same media that voted him MVP. Steve Nash was an incredible player.
Of course. Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Pau Gasol, Ron Artest, I can go on and on all had their basketball games elevated to another level while being coached by the magical Dantoni btw they didn't So Steph Curry is 'alright'. He only looks good because his offense was elevated to another level by Steve Kerr. Clay Thompson wasn't anything extremely special before the great Steve Kerr. Michael Jordan wasn't the greatest of all time before teaming with the amazing Steve Kerr. Now we know who the real on court coach was of that team. BTW speaking of Jordan and Kobe- hmm.. are they reaalllyyy elite championship heroes? or just by products of Phil Jacksons system. Seemed to me like anyone could win in his system right?
This should be shutting down the whole debate. How do they get paid so much money for such subpar work?
