I said he wasn't ready yet. "Needs practice to fix his flaws" I said.

    I yelled at Hopkins' hands.

I thought Coach couldn't scheme an offense.

    I suck.

I was ok with the decision to protect him (bad oline) and give a little seasoning time by starting Savage to begin the year. That was obviously a mistake.

Also, I'll give props to the GM and the scouts and whoever it was that found Cole and signed him. That guy's a player, and not just for the TD, he's made plays every time they put him in.

I will say this..... Watson today was nothing short of awesome. I don't like starting rookie quarterbacks with a bad offensive line. However what Watson has done the last two weeks is exceptional.

The Texans may have lucked into a genuine franchise QB.

I am Deshaun Watson's biggest fan here. Today was totally awesome and I'll never forget it.

Just remember not to fall off the bandwagon when he struggles in upcoming games. It's definitely gonna happen. Now that teams know he's good, it will be harder from here on.

DW's reaction to these struggles will define his season.

Pretty sure it's unfair to say we "lucked" into it when we gave up a 1st & 2nd rounder to make it happen. That's just being proactive.

I agreed with the decision to start Watson largely because of the issues on the offensive line that we saw in Week 1. I worried about bad habits becoming ingrained after so much reinforcement.

Clearly Watson is more...special...than I thought. He has literally gotten better in game each week, which while every player and coach wants that, it rarely works out that way. Credit to him.

It's still a small sample so I'm not ready to declare the QB solved problem for the next decade, but he definitely looks special. I hope they can keep him healthy and improving.

I'm still at a total loss for what Obrien was doing this offseason after watching both of these guys.
