Yes let's get rid of the system that gave 2nd in the West and Wcf with an injured team. Why? Because players stop listening to the coach and stop playing the system. What make you think the same players will now listening to a new coach and system. The owner message was clear, we going to bail the players bad attitude by firing the coach so bringing another coach will not change the dynamics, players know the can do whatever they want the will not be held accountable.
I think Les knew how McHale really is as a coach. Next step is to ship out players not performing. Didn't the Jet say as much? Players got the message. He's already shelling out $12m for McHale. He doesn't want to shell out more millions for a head coach when he's not sure about the players he's got. He'll do that in the off-season.
You have to tread carefully when replying with emotion like this. These same players have played well before under different circumstances. The truth of the matter is we all know they overcame a lot to get as far as they got. If one of those things you have to overcome is coaching or system it might do you well to get rid of one or both of those things. So your anger is displaced. Trust soon enough if things don't turn around when we are able to trade then we will. Everyone should be held accountable from top all the way down I think Les has made it clear that, that is exactly what he will be doing. What else do you want, should Les hire goons to beat the **** out f our players in the lockeroom?
Stupidity. The past three games we are 1-2 but we have improved statistically on defense from #29 to #22. Our 3 highest percentage shooting games have been while JB is coaching. We have had no practices until these three days we have off. Wait and see how they perform Wednesday at least. Under Mchale we would continue getting blown out by 20. Stop with the stupidity.
We lost to the Knicks, got bailed out by a Brewer hail mary and got beaten covincingly by a struggling Memphis outfit. Let's not pretend some of this improvement is not attributable to our crap opponents.
lets not forget we couldnt even beat crap opponents. nuggets twice and the nets, mav's b team. but i dont believe jb is fit to coach a contender
The more effort in defence and in grabbing defensive rebounds is not because of the quality of the opponents. You can look beyond the results into the picture of the team in the court. There is real improvement. Did you really think we would just change coach and all of a sudden we would have all our problems solved from one day to the next?
I feel like the OP hit 'Enter' before finishing the subject line. 'McHale should be coaching D League' maybe? 'McHale should be coaching Division III College' perhaps? 'McHale should be coaching U12 female Saturday morning comp' possibly? Either way - the answer is no for all. Each one of those teams could find a better coach.
I actually like JB's rotations. Also the shots we're getting are cleaner looks, the offense looks more organized. The Rockets just have to get stops. T.Jones has been a total SCRUB and liability on the court. We need a stretch 4 and he's the closest thing we have until DMo gets back. But even with DMo our defense & rebounding suffer. I miss Josh Smith
Come on bro, you're reaching . He has barely had like 3 games . And the team has been looking slightly better defensively and much more active and motivated ...
Wednesday is a huge game for us and should tell us a lot about JB and how the players are responding to him. The guys have had a few days off and will know what JB expects from them.
there's simply no need to bring him back when we already have the power dancers clapping on the sidelines
That's a great question. He seemed more involved and excited about the team last year. Appearing in practices, home games, talking to the media. This year he has been MIA for unknown reasons.
