The problem is there is no system. All I heard last year is we need a true PG, a ball handler because Harden is asked to do too much and he turns it over. So we get one of the best in the business and now all I hear is we can't have two ball dominate guards blah blah blah. Ty needs to run the damn offense and Harden needs to play a traditional 2 guard role. This can work but only if Harden commits to focusing on defense and his spot up shooting. Both have been atrocious.
That's because nobody cuts. Ty Lawson waits if Harden has the ball and Harden waits if Lawson has the ball. Idk what's happening, but I wonder if things even get better from this point out. Rockets are in serious trouble. Houston, we have a problem.
In favor of DMo, because DMo was playing like a god. DMo was benched because Josh Smith wanted to start in the first place, not because Josh was better.
Harden doesn't want to bail McHale out like he did last year. I think he's letting him sink. That can be the only explanation for his lack of effort this season.
Benching lawson does nothing. He is not the problem. Change the system or bench Harden. We got a coach like McHale because he has enough cahones and playing resume to back it up to to make a move like this.
