Only thing I ever get there is the Egg White Delight every couple of months when I don't have time to fix breakfast & lunch.

I'll only eat an egg mcmuffin or sausage biscuit from there. That's rare in itself though. Their lunch/dinner food taste like shiet. Almost every fast food place I have had is better lol. I hardly ever eat fast food though

I also think they are making a mistake by trying to promote healthy food like grilled chicken wraps, salads, etc.. Most of the new healthy crowd is too snobby to even been seen there so it's a waste to have that menu.

They need to embrace what they are like Jack in the Box is. Nothing screams I dgaf like the Hella'Peno Burger Munchie Meal.

I don't eat at McDonald's but I like restaurants that offer limited options. Five guys and chipotle. Very basic you go there knowing what you want and you know it's good.

Lately I've seen McDonald's just make variations of the same crappy sandwiches they always sell.

I only eat something from there once a month or so, and it's always the sausage biscuit for breakfast.

They've got one in Huntsville. That's where a lot of people go before prom.

They should shrink the price instead and make it taste good again. A Big Mac meal is almost 7 bucks. I remember the good ol days when value meals were $2.99, bigger and tasted better.

their coffee is severely underrated, not bad for a fast food place.

I eat there maybe once a month, and order two hot and spices. It comes out to $2.30. If they cut their selection of value items, I don't see myself ever visiting there again. When I eat fastfood, I don't mind paying 10 dollars for fresher, more nutritious food: panera, chipotle, or which wich.

Not surprised that they are looking at cutting the items they are.

During the worst part of the recession, I remember reading an article in USA Today that highlighted McDonald's attempt to class up their menu with premium chicken sandwiches, angus beef burgers, and wraps as they tried to lure in families that would normally eat at a casual dining places like Applebee's and Chili's but were looking to cut back on their dining expenses.

Even then, at a time when everybody was looking to cut back, it seemed like a stretch. And given the seeming lack of success of that initiative, it sounds really ridiculous now.

    Lol really.
People think scaling back from Chili's and Applebee's = McDonald's?
Scaling back means ordering Chinese or something. More bang for your buck.

Whoever runs marketing for McDonalds should be fired.

Bruh their Jalapeno burger is actually pretty good.
Outside of that and their hot and spicy McChicken sandwiches, their food is terrible.

they are reducing the costs for the franchisees. Menu items that don't sell still need to be stocked, you still have to train dumb people to make them etc. They also have to deal with laws requiring calorie counts on restaurant menus.

I only eat their breakfast items and that only when I'm out of town.

I still remember back in the day (mid 90's) after leaving Hurricane Harry's we would stop off at the McDonalds in the parking lot on the way home and get breakfast. The meal came with coffee or a small drink. My friend wanted a water and they gave him a coffee cup of hot water.
