1. The Clippers are nuked. This is a very good thing for all WC teams that are Finals contenders. 2. The Mavs remain a lower-tier player team, which is where they belong.

This hurts the Clippers, but you can't tell me a team with Griffin and Paul aren't still major dark horses.
How do you "run plays for Deandre"? He can't do anything besides catch lobs offensively. Clippers used him well.
Thank god Dwight scaled back on that BS. Mavs fans will kill themselves after watching failed post up after failed post up.

This year has been full of win for the Rox. Got to WCF and now Spurs, Mavs Portland Clips all got weaker.
Totally agree with this. Don't get me wrong, losing DJ was a huge detriment to them, since I thought with the addition of Lance and Peirce, they were as scary as any team in the league. However, even without DJ, a team with CP3, Griffin, Lance, Pierce, Crawford & Reddick will still win a ****load of games (im guessing over 54) and potentially be able to beat anyone in a 7 game series. In the event they don't find a good replacement starting center, I expect them to run a lot of small consisting of - Griffin, Pierce, Stephenson, Reddick, CP3. While probably average at best defensively, that lineup is scary offensively.
If the Mavs are truly going to make DJ a go to player, they are done. As an Aggie, I love DJ ... BUT, he is worth the max only if he plays that rebounding, defense, and dunking games. The minute you start running plays for him and throwing it down to him in the block, he is no longer a max player IMO as he is going to create too many turnovers and ugly offensive possessions. Plus it hinders his offensive rebounding.
this is more DJ giving CP3 the significant finger. he has never trusted CP3 a few yr back, in his 1st yr w the Clips, CP3 and Vinny D almost got DJ traded away to the Celts for KG.
I like! Not for the Mavs but for the Clippers! Jordan was a very important piece for the Clippers! Clippers get weaker! As for the Mavs, looking forward to Parsons & DAJ centered offense!
