man this sucks. I was one of the first ones to say Chandler and Morey have been working on this plan for a while. I was thinking Daryl was going to help out Chandler and Chandler was going to help out Daryl. Guess I was way wrong

Damn. Wish one of these free agents actually wanted to come here. Instead of us being sloppy seconds...or thirds. I'm really surprised with our talent that we're not more attractive. Guess that 1st round exit really hurt.

Yup. All of this began the minute Chandler switched agents.

the F.O really seems to miscalculate these sort of things. A lot of people on here knew CP was going to get paid big money close to the max. The rockets though they could keep him for around 9-10 mil.

I've been trying to find where I read it.. Basically it said that the Pelicans can't take Asik's salary back until they make a cap clearing trade, and that their cap clearing trade can't be completed until Sunday when certain players of theirs are eligible to be moved.

Management has a bad name around the league and we didn't help ourselves by losing in the 1st round with Harden/Howard.

Don't like Deng because he can't hit the 3(only 32%) but I'll take Deng at 10 million over Parsons at 15 million

man, i'm really upset right now.

for the past month, that was my biggest concern. losing parsons.

if he's gone, don't doubt for one second that carlisle will use him to the best of his ability.

the mavs will make it farther than the rockets this year, just watch.

If this wasn't in the plan it is pretty surprising. Chandler has always seemed like a team guy and you would guess that Morey wouldn't let him out of the last year of the deal without some kind of assurances from Chandler and Feagan. The Rockets letting Chandler walk for nothing this offseason is something I never thought would happen.

FWIW, behind all the drama, there is an underlying fact, that star free agents simply aren't that interested in Dallas, so they have to overpay second tier stars. This is actually a textbook example of that.
