Screw you, Cuban! Damn, Morey really must be doing something right. Everyone wants a piece of our front office.
Daryl is always ahead of the curve. I'm sure he saw this coming. It's time for the next man to step up. In Morey I trust....

Of course it's better to have them, but it's absolutely a testament to our organization that people want our guys.
Same thing happens all the time to the Spurs. Basically, well run teams become the laboratories / feeder pools for teams who aspire to be better run.
That's exactly why. The rest of the league is so impressed by what our front office has accomplished they are making everybody in that front office an offer they can't refuse. I wonder how the Rockets have protected their secrets. Obviously a lot of these guys know an awful lot about all the Rockets do.
And now Morey has better contacts with stronger relationships at GM positions around the league. If we need to dump a good player in the East, we can probably send them to Philly or Toronto. Dallas might become a good trade partner of ours in the near future. They will likely be rebuilding during our superstar's prime, and we may be able to send some draft picks their way for a role player. Maybe they will want some expiring deals in 2015, or they could help facilitate a 3way. This is not a bad thing at all, we should expect turnover like this from a successful organization. It's the way networks expand in sports, and the better the network, the more people you have to work with. Morey will need to replace these guys and train the new ones, and they will become the next prospective execs to be poached in the future. Then the cycle starts over again, rinse, repeat.
I mean I am sure he will do a good job in the interim...and hire great staff. But people that work around the clock, are good at their job , and passionate do not grow on trees in any profession. I imagine it will be a long process...he will probably promote form within and then try and find people with skill sets like rosas and hinkie. But in this industry replacing guys like that with all the skills and work ethic they have PLUS the industry experience. Your not going to be able to replace them over nigt
Obviously its not ideal to lose talented guys like this but if its going to happen better now that we pretty much have our core set for the foreseeable future. We can have the front office rebuilt before we need to rebuild the team. And Daryl is going to find some more highly intelligent people to man these positions, I have no doubt. Good luck to all these guys!
