    Down 3-1 in a 7 game series.

    Chanting, "Houston Sucks!"

But we're the ones with the inferiority complex?

    Got it!

They really did not want to get swept by a Houston team.

I'm thinking we take a page out of the Dynamo playbook and go with the "F U Dallas!" chant if we're getting ready to close them out in Game 5.

I was wondering about that. I usually can hear the music in the background during the game, it didnt seem to me that their DJ was even playing anything.

Houston fans chanted that about Dallas. I don't really see a problem with either side doing it. The Mavs fans haven't had much of a chance for that kind of thing. They might as well take advantage while they can. Hopefully it won't last.

    Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

My main problem with "X sucks" is that it's terribly unoriginal.
This has more spirit to it ;)

Last night really made me question our team.

Its not that we didnt sweep the mavs. Its not that we lost 1 game.

Last night was a chance for harden to prove he was on currys level, and he failed. Not only did he not do it....but he didnt really try. Curry made that comeback against NO. They know how to close.

Aside from that our PG play is absolutely pathetic. We did not play with intensity, and focus. We try to beat everyone with sheer athleticism and talent.

That wont work against the Spurs...and it wont work against the Warriors.

Unfortunately it looks like our team will only have a real shot to make it out of the second round if they face the clippers.

To say the least I was very disappointed. You know if the spurs or warriors were play last night they would have found a way to close that game out.

The only player that has that mindset is corey brewer. I think we win game 5, but I really worry about the next round.

I agree. This whole series has been fool's gold. Round 2 will separate the men from the boys.

The Pelicans bave zero playoff experience. Much easier to make a comeback against them versus the Mavs.

These are pretty much my thoughts. I think Brewer and Smith had the right mentality last night and have been the real MVPs of the series so far tbh. It takes more than talent to win in the playoffs. You have to have the right mindset and the Rox especially Harden and Howard after the first Q just appeared to not have the edge/mentality required to close out a veteran team with champions on the roster. They have to lead by example Tuesday night. Harden needs to be on attack mode and Dwight needs to own the glass like he did in game 3. Loses like last night hurt because when Houston tries, I don't think it matters what Dallas throws at them.

The point is curry did it. Harden should have been able to at least give them a run for their money, but he didnt.

Credit mavs D or whatever you want...but from watching both series in full I actually think the Pelicans played as good if not better than the mavs.

Game 3 they looked phenomenal, and their defense was elite that game. But curry refused to lose, and gave it all he had.

I saw Harden play as calm and complacent as he was playing the whole game. No step up. I would say he didnt even try to take over. But thats just my opinion

It took the spurs 7 games to get rid of the mavs last year, losing one game to them is not the end of the world!! Now if we don't put them away the mavs in game 5...!!
