I dont think Mo is gonna sign with us for only the exception. He strikes me as the type of guy that would go to a team that can give him the most money. I think he also cares about wheather or not that team is a contender..for the championship, not just the playoffs. For those reasons, I am skeptical about Mo signing in Houston. Hope he proves me wrong. ------------------ "There are two rules for success... 1) Never tell everything you know."
That's true. But his agent, David Falk, says that the way for him to get the most money is by signing for the exception and getting a big payday next summer, when ironically the Rockets will have cap room. I've never heard this about Maurice. He's 23 years old, and has his whole career ahead of him. He was going to sign on the dotted line with Toronto before Falk killed the deal. Houston is closer to a championship than Toronto. (although neither are close) Mo Taylor has never said anything about going to a contending team, and if he was, he would have glady taken the Lakers or Knicks 2.25M exceptions. The Knicks were and still are interested. Being a championship level team is not a key factor for Taylor, trust me. ------------------ Looking for next year's Dan Langhi? TeXaSalsa, The reason the Clips would not sign & trade Anderson was that they didn't want to take on any more contracts. They have too many already. Th trade exception is different. But then again, it is the Clippers. ------------------ "Stranger things have happened, but none stranger than this" - Commentator after a parachutist landed in the ring of a Holyfield fight
