there is nothing that can be done to prevent flopping. all fouls in the nba are subjective. it isn't easy for the refs to determine if there was legitimate charging or not, and that's not taking into consideration how awful most of the refs are in the first place.

Something can be done, known floppers should just not get the calls. Then if they complain on legit ones the ref can say 'Sorry but you flop so much its hard for me to tell, so I give the other team the benefit'. Watch how quickly they stop flopping then.

 

Anyone complaining about Matt's complaining has never played in a game where there was flopping.. I absolutely agree with what Bull is saying.

He genuinely LOVES the Rockets. How can you not like that? He may be corny with jokes at times, but I'll take an announcer who cares about my team as much as I do ANY DAY over someone who spits out cliches and only wants to do home games.

 

These calls werent about taking charges. They were poor post defenders trying to do whatever they can to slow our guys down. Or offensive players trying to jump sideways into the defender and away from where their shot naturally takes them. Or guys trying to run a cut only to have some nominal defense and then fall down because they have to work too hard to make their cut.
