Matt Bullard made a very astute observation as opposed to the idiot Rocket fans here. No matter how you slice it, they're a talentless bunch. Kenny Smith and Charles said the same thing. Let's not replace honest assessments for misguided optimism.

No, Charles said that we're a 7th or 8th seed at best (which is the title of a thread in here) and the name of this thread is "Matt Bullard picks the Rockets as 7th seed"...that sounds like saying the same thing. Either way all three Charles, Matt, and Kenny don't think too highly of our roster.
No, Charles also said we were not contenders when the night started. Matt only was saying that 7th seed is possible because of how deep the west is. One guy is saying that we have 0 shot, the other is more suggesting with how deep the conference is that he thinks it is possible. Unless there is a trade, Charles simply does not think the rockets can be higher than the 7th seed. All Kenny said was that he's not convinced of our talent outside of James and Howard.
