Mashed potatoes - with or without gravy?

    Corn and Potato's mixed with Brown Gravy is good. That's actually what i'm cooking to go along with my steak tonight. :)

    Plain potatoes without gravy? Bleh, why not just eat a skinless baked potato?

    It's a mishmash of chicken and cornmeal/seasoning shaped out to be a flat steak and coated in batter. I've have good ones, but it's something I don't miss. There's also steak fried steak....

    You've probably never had a chili mac or frito pie either. :)

    Gotta have gravy....only way ill eat it without would be if it had some sour cream or cheese or just something to ad a bit of flavor on it.

    I don't like plain baked potatoes, or even just butter and sour cream. They need cheese and bacon and/or some other meat. BBQ is always good. Or chili. Lots and lots of toppings.

    I suppose this works on other forms of potatoes, even mashed: there's something called the "unbaked potato" at a restaurant here and it's really good. Now that I think about it, it's kind of like mashed potatoes with all the toppings. So I don't like mashed potatoes unless they're mixed with other stuff - then I do.

    I've never heard of steak fried steak before just chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken.

    Yup they have it...it's pretty good too..i thought the same thing when i first saw it on a menu.
