[Marvel TV] Iron Fist (Netflix)

Why pick it up? Reboot it.

 

Maybe they do a Luke Cage, Iron Fist heroes for hire series like the comics..

 

He doesn't have any less charisma than these other garbage marvel shows. Kristen Ritter is the only decent actor of the 4

 

That may be, but Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil all have GREAT characters around them.

 

Bernthal and Charlie Cox have good charisma. Mike Colter is so-so.

 

I suppose, at least in Jessica Jones and Daredevil. I think everyone in Luke Cage is terrible, even worse than iron fist

I forgot about Bernthal. He is by far the best actor of the group. I think Charlie Cox is pretty boring and Mike Colter is just bad

 

I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. For me, it was clear from the beginning he has less depth than the other Marvel Netfix actors and was the worst casting choice by far. Even worse than Mike Colter IMO.

Jon Bernthal is great.

 

Uh...yeah...okay. Charlie Cox.

Kristen Ritter literally plays the same character in every show she's in. She's just more dour in Jessica Jones.

 

Allegedly he's still going to pop up in the other shows, and...I'm guessing it'll show up on Disney's service or maybe they'll get a new actor or something.

 

That is exactly what they said in the news they would consider doing.

 

Yup, I agree that Sir Loras does not add any gravitas to his role. Should have stayed in roles like GOT.

I buy that he is a metrosexual billionaire's son and heir but carrying a dragon inside of him as an ultimate kungfu fighter? .....far fetched.

Luckily for them, I have accepted every character as I am a sucker for anything Marvel.

 

Season 2 must have really flopped so badly Netflix felt like they had little to lose by announcing this quickly. I just watched the first two episodes and this kills my interest in finishing season 2.

 

Shame. I was way more excited for season 3 than I was for season 2.

The chi-infused weapons and Colleen as the new Iron Fist would have brought a new wrinkle to the show.

 

I like Charlie Cox as Daredevil. He might not be so great in other roles though. But he fits "depressed, brooding Catholic" pretty well.

For me:

#2 Charlie Cox
#3 Kristen Ritter
#4 Mike Colter (awful as the main character IMO)
DNP-CD Iron Fist guy (never watched the series; I did watch Defenders and he wasn't bad, but not sure if I'd like him as the leading man.)

 

At least the 2nd season made up for the horrible first one

Hopefully they will make cameo appearances in the other shows

 

Axed after 2 seasons? Yikes.... Is Donnie Yen available?

At the end of the day
They were not strong enough characters to carry their own comic
and
looks like they not strong enough to carry their own TV Show

But together they might make it
