I had it, but never got around to watching it. I'm still curious, I've always liked Ray Stevenson. 2 more days...
Seems like the reviews are pretty great. Should be a good weekend binge before Game of Thrones and Veep come back on for me.
Where do you go to for TV reviews? I generally look at Rotten Tomatoes/Flickster for movies, but haven't thought about it for TV.
Rotten Tomatoes just started doing TV reviews about a year ago, but normally I just look around google and Twitter to see what people are saying. By mostly all accounts, this Daredevil show looks to be a winner. I'm looking forward to it.
Yeah, I was already more than excited after seeing everything they've released to this point, but this quote really did it for me: http://www.forbes.com/sites/markhug...evil-is-one-of-marvels-greatest-achievements/
I thought Jane was good in the first movie, he definitely wasn't the problem. (When I say first I mean modern, Dolph Lundgren is a beast)
13 episodes. I'm sure there will be more if it's a success, at this point it looks almost guaranteed. It will tie into the other Netflix/Marvel shows planned (A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist), eventually leading into a team up show (the Defenders).
Yes, this is just season one. Presuming it gets the viewership they hope and expect there will be more seasons to come.
While I don't think they have reviews up before the show airs, AV club usually have great reviewers, though they review episode-by-episode. They may not review every single TV show, but they review shows people usually watch. RT for movies, AV club for TV, for me.
Alan Sepinwall from HitFlix is pretty good for TV reviews, too. Although not reviews, I always enjoy Entertainment Weekly recaps, too, because they're pretty funny, especially for Game of Thrones.
I wasn't high on this show after watching the trailer; looked kind of boring. After watching the first two episodes, I'm hooked. The fight scenes look like they're from a PG-13 version of The Raid. I can't wait for the other shows they have planned.
