see... this is why i can't cut the cable cord. series was just released and i only have two episodes left. instant gratification like a muth. i'd burn through these shows so quick. anyhow, dope series.
Finished it last night. I thought it was as good as or maybe even a little better than daredevil. Kilgrave was a great villain.
That's good news, I thought DD was way over hyped. It started out great then quickly became dull with boring pointless monotone dialog. I keep trying to give it a second chance but end up popping some pain pills and passing out. Been avoiding Jessica Jones because I didn't want to fall in the same trap and force my way through it. Being better than Smallville is not a very big achievement...
I'm talking back what I said about the fight choreography. I guess the memory gets a little fuzzy when you watch 13 hours of one show in one weekend. There were many good fights I forgot about.
same. Right when I thin to myself, "I need a new show to watch," Netflix delivers the goods and I can burn right through it
Couldn't get through first episode. Very poor. Worse than DD which was crap at the latter half. I hope marvel has better stuff before Doctor strange and black panther. Avengers 2 was meh, and people are getting fatigue.
There a many great shows on, the standard has been set much higher for TV. The last episode of Fargo was incredible. These shows have to be more than pr0n for comic book nerds to be successful.
You can stream Netflix without cable. Really the only thing keeping most ppl from cutting the cable is sports. ESPN and TNT don't stream without a cable/dish account.
I think he's saying cable forces him to be patient with shows. With Netflix, he polished off a season in a weekend and is back to cable.
yeah. there were a couple of spoilers in this thread, but i would have read them anyway. when ddave2000 catches early viewings of marvel movies, i have think i've asked him a couple of times about after credit scenes. for real. now that i'm finished with this show, i seriously feel empty somehow. what am i supposed to do now? that's exactly what i meant. i don't do moderation in anything well.
Ah, gotcha. Maybe Netflix should put out a new feature, where you set the frequency of release of every show to your account, so that you can moderate your viewing to once a week. And once set, you can't override that setting without a friend's account sponsoring your request to reset your frequency to NOW!! I WANT ALL SHOWS NOW! PLEASE!
Is it me or is the Hogarth Lawyer building/office the same one as Evil Corp in Mr. Robot? The receptionist lobby looks exactly the same.
Good show. A lot of characters to get into. Good casting and character development on several fronts. But, I wasn't impressed with Hargrove/Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix). First time I've seen her since Matrix. Not that great of an actress. About on Keanu Reeves level. She seemed very forced in several scenes. I actually wonder if they first tried to get Claire Underwood from House of Cards to play the role. Hargrove's role seems very similar to Claire.
I thought Hargrove was great. She played a self serving, calculating b**** that was attractive enough that you could understand why some were attracted to her.
Claire Underwood is the better calculating b**** who everyone wants to fk. Orders of magnitude better. And that's not the writers' fault. That was the limitations of Carrie-Anne Moss's acting ability. at least, imo. When I first saw Hargrove, I actually did a double-take thinking it was Claire/Robin Wright with black hair.
Spoiler ReIntro of the NIGHT NURSE was good way to cross over without the principles showing up I like that they showed Luke and Jessica having some limitations. Rocket River
