Thought Chris Evans was so good it launched his action career. Outside of that, all dud.

A lot to break down here. The furniture, Sue's hair, the Life magazine that the Thing is reading all point to early 1960s. There's also an astronaut in the picture behind them.

I was always hoping that the MCU would bring them in as time-displaced adventurers from the 1960s. It would explain why the MCU didn't have them as they're so iconic and a big part of the Marvel lore. Also, Sentry, who will be in The Thunderbolts movie, was created and retconned into the FF's early days, then he disappeared.

Astronaut looks like the actor playing Ben Grimm

If they do Dr. Doom right, I'll allow this. He and Thing are the best parts of F4.

This and the X-Men are super important for Disney to nail to right the MCU franchise ship, hence spending big bucks on the leads for this movie. I think Kevin Feige will be all over this one, which is good because the more he's in on projects the better they are. I also expect to see some premium directors attached to some of their movies going forward. Some of phase 4 had these artsy-fartsy directors who had one indie movie under their belt and it showed.

Just to add on to that, the MCU is also floundering because most of the core heroes are either dead or have said goodbye to the franchise. Black Widow and Iron Man are out, and Cap is 120 years old and Jeremy Renner just broke 30 bones getting run over by a snowplow. Hulk and Thor is a great combo as we saw in Thor 3 but they need fresh blood that isn't B or C-List superheroes like Shang Chi to anchor the franchise. I guess Spidey and Doctor Strange are still around.

They should 100% abandon that blackmail strategy to anchor movies with D++.

Marvels was a hot mess that it made me think seeing more Capt Marvel would've made it "better".

Its not even surprising anymore, in 10 years I wonder what characters survive this $hitstorm if any.... The good thing is that no matter how much they try and force this cringe trash the originals will always be just that.... All this new bs is fan fiction on a high budget that no one will watch day 1...

Disney's handling of the MCU should become a Harvard Business School case of how to go from unprecedented success to complete failure in a short time.
