Is Ego dead? Ego is immortal, right?

I thought he said something to the effect that he was immortal as long as the core of planet lived. As planet core is dead....I assume Ego is dead.

I liked it but thought it took a step back from the first film.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but PLEASE tell me you did not just spoil this for everyone, with the four letters.

Lmao does that acronym fit the name of a Marvel character?

Just wanted to site that the person revealed (not revealed but named) is a total badass in my book. The term Bad Ass MFer is way too vague for me to spoil anything so I think I'm in the clear. :D

Good movie, thought all the jokes and joking distracted or made the heavier scenes less impactful. Nebula's story about growing up was pretty messed up.

lol as long as bamf stands for bad ass mfer, I'm good. I thought bamf referred to

The sound nightcrawler, from X-Men, makes when he uses his power.

Although I guess that character wouldn't make sense, in GotG or even Marvel lmao, so maybe I shouldn't have said anything

I don't understand how people still don't expect scenes after the credits. Marvel has been doing this for a decade now. Nowadays it's not just one scene but at least 2 or 3. I saw it on Saturday and huge chunks of the audience left before the 1st scene.

Unless people are watching them online beforehand or don't really care.

So who / what's the thing in the mid-credits scene? What villain is that?

Also, there was no Collector scene in this movie. Thought we'd get that after the post-credits scene from the first 1.

What all did they deviate? I know about
    Peter's dad
    but that's it.

Sidenote- Thor 3 looks better than the first two..

I wish it was called Thor 3. Very glad GotG is using numbers. Nothing wrong with numbers.

    Saw this last night.

It was exactly what I wanted it to be. I saw the first movie, but I'm not a comic book reader and I'm ignorant when it comes to how these characters play into the larger Marvel universe and vice versa. And yet, that didn't really hamper my enjoyment. It had good action scenes, good moments of humor, and I thought the story was pretty good, with enough twists and turns to keep me glued.

I think the jokes were fine, but the duration of some of the jokes ran too long.

Especially the Taserface joke. It was funny the 2 mentions, but everything after was cringe.

Liked it BETTER than the first one (which I didn't love). The gold chick is SMOKING HOT.

I liked how the movie never focused on 1 single character more so than any other, even though the entire plot revolved around 1 character.

Almost thought it was Sanser Stark but it is E. Debicki.

I agree. It was trying way too hard to be funny. And the action was too over the top, nobody could die.

So is Ragnarok going to completely set up Infinity War?

I expected at least one of the GotG scenes to mention something about the Guardians headed in that direction, but nope.
