I guess he figured the odds of that happening two days in a row (in the exact same inning) were very very unlikely.

Seriously... just look at the odds! This is a game where if the batter FAILS 70% of the time he comes up to bat for his career, he can potentially be a hall of famer.

That being said... I was highly nervous about that situation. :D

    Yes indeed.

I know we're all bummed about Morgan not being in the lineup... but Lamb has hardly been a bad replacement. He's had a couple dingers, some big hits (especially in Philly), a big game yesterday... I don't know if you could ask for much else from Morgan over the last week (maybe 1 more HR).

"That being said" (I'm saying that a lot today)... I hope Ensberg gets better ASAP.

Guys it's Gipson, not Gibson. I had it wrong until I heard Ashby on the radio talking about it.

so who had adam everett almost hitting two grand slams tonight in the office pool?

if he pulled the first one more, it goes in the boxes, and if he hit that one about 2 feet further he gets another. crazy.

Here's something weird: Going to the top of the ninth, ESPN's front baseball page currently shows the following headling:

Rocket starts despite mom's death | Astros win
