mettenberger to start againist the falcons, mariotas passer ratings has dropped every week.. defenses were figuring him out and after 4 straight losses the titans now turn to mettenberger
Mariota's schedule is one of the toughest in the league. He also has no O-line, and rookies/no names for wide receivers and running backs. Let him finish off a whole season where he gets to play the ****ty teams of the AFC South like Houston and Jacksonville before you start talking. Jameis has thrown less touchdowns and more picks than Mariota, while having an easier schedule and having the likes of Vincent Jackson, Mike Evans, and Doug Martin helping him out. Yet no one here points out his bad play. They're rookies. Let them develop.
the afc south is one of the most easiest confernces in the nfl. winston plays againist the falcons and panthers
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dEwO61RKNBM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> looks teams have gotten tape on Mariota and week 1 was so far ago, and he seems to be healthy enough to play now... lets see if he's learned to read defenses againist the saints this week. Although Rob Ryan is garbage
True, he was great however this is the same Saints team that gave up 49 points and 6 touchdowns passes to the Giants.
mariota is not on the most penalized team in the NFL like Jameis, and actually has a defense under Dick Lebeau that can create stops. Lovie and his tampa 2 scheme get shredded every week
Why don't you just start a thread on Jameis and put all his excuses there? Not everyone is obsessed with arguing to the world one guy better than the other. This thread is about Mariota and he was great. If he stays healthy (which is much more likely now that Wiz is gone), he will be very successful. That all said, I expect it will get pretty ugly next week against Carolina.
I love the final stat line, but he did throw a near certain interception that ended up going for a 63 yard touchdown. That was a big swing, especially given they were down 14-3 at the time.
