David Carr was a cancer to this team. Everything has improved since he has left.

In hindsight it would have been nice if he left when Kubiak came on board, but then you know who might have been drafted. The funny thing is that I truly thought that Kubiak was going to make an impression on Carr. Boy was I ever wrong. That year I was pushing for Bush.

Now I'm glad that we have Mario and I'm glad that he is healthy.

Oh and I'm glad that David Carr is gone.

Damn, swilkins...its like you read my thoughts exactly.

I was one of the Keep Carr and draft Reggie guys. After we drafted Mario, it was the closest sports have made me to crying since stockton hit that three on us in the conference finals.

Unlike others though, I can admit I was wrong and eat crow.

I'll admit (I have before already) I wanted Bush too. I wasn't really upset when we got Mario though because I trusted the Texan's org. They must know more than I do, I'm just a fan.

I too was a Carr sympathizer. I always wanted him to do well, and stood up for him. But man, I'm glad he's gone now.

I think (or hope) this will be the year when people finally stop talking about the 2006 draft. All 3 guys involved are clearly moving in 3 different directions.

    Mario – moving up
    Vince – moving down
    Reggie – consistently below average

If the 2nd half of last year is any indication, Mario is finally 100% healthy and ready to start establishing himself as one of the most feared pass rushers in the game – and make everyone regret doubting that he was worthy of the #1 pick.

If I were the Texans D-line coach, I would have kept all the negative articles written about him, placed them in a portfolio, and I would tape a different one to his locker before every Tuesday morning practice for the entire season this year. Set the tone for the whole week of practice and make him nice and salty come Sunday afternoon…

Good point as usual and agree, but you know the talk will still be with us beyond this year...by the expected ones.

Well at least Reggie Bush has Kim Kardashian.

He was even on her show- Keeping up with the Kardashians.

I guess he's setting up his 2nd career already.

Supposedly Mario was working real hard during OTA's last week, hopefully the 2nd half of last season was an indicator of things to come because Mario was unstoppable.

And yet another thread about Mario has degenerated into Vince bashing.

I suppose the day will never come when can simply discuss Mario Williams.

I'm encouraged that it at least took two replies before David Carr was mentioned.
