Heat Trying To Salary Dump Chris Andersen, Mario Chalmers

    how about

Mario Chalmers + Chris Andersen+ Shabazz Napier <-> Kostas Papanikolaou + Pablo Prigioni + Joey Dorsey

    ?

Papanikolaou is non-guaranteed and Prigioni is 440K guaranteed
Heat could cut 9m salary, and we get backup PG/C and potential point guards

its been known bird man and chalmers are available.

no one wants the bird man and chalmers is known to be dumpable but wouldn't get compensation if the heat part with him

I wouldn't mind getting Napier. He could at least provide some scoring off the bench.

This is the fire sale - they are basically giving them away. I say we trade Papa's non guaranteed deal for Chalmer's expiring. We need a PG under 30 who is serviceable for spot minutes more than a point forward who cna't shoot or whatever Papa is. I guess the only reason this hasn't happened is Morey wants to see if he can use Papa's deal to acquire someone better later in the year. I expect Chalmers could very well be available much later on if Houston wants to start stockpiling for the playoffs.

Norris Cole over all of those guys. Young with good playoff experience. Even played well against GSW in first round.

Wasn't Shabazz Napier the one LeBron hinted the Heat to draft?

I'd certainly do that trade if we can't get a better player before the guarantee dates. Those contracts as expirings will still have value for trades during the season and Chalmers is a solid player with Napier as a decent assett and potential player.

Honestly if you can get them for basically nothing which I'm assuming, its not a bad plan b. Chalmers would really fit on this team as a backup pg. Don't know if Birdman has anything left but cant imagine he would be a bad depth big to have on the team.

Id take Chalmers and Shabazz for Kpaps non guaranteed and Dorsey.... gives us a decent pg rotation (PBev/Chalmers/Napier) for virtually nothing... and we can try to upgrade later....
Chalmers expiring 4.3 should be moveable at the deadline....

I like the Chalmers idea. Good spread the floor point with clutch tendencies. I wouldn't mind Birdman as a backup big either.

    I like this alot...

Chambers is servicable pg behind Beverly.

Plus we get back The Birdman, he comes back to texas to retire. He lived in college station. Maybe would be a good coming home party to play in Houston for year or maybe 2 to close out his career.

Im all down for it, he plays with alot of energy , and would be cool coming off the bench for dwight or Dmo on some occations. He would be probably be a fan favorite in no Time

    High energy bench for sure

    Birdman
    Smith
    Dekker
    Brewer
    Chambers

    PBev/Chalmers/Shabazz
    Harden/Brewer/NJohnson
    Ariza/Brewer/Decker
    Dmo/JSmith/Andersen/Harrell
    D12/Capella

I'm good with that.... and still got TJ to dish....
