If he were going to do these things, he would have done them already. Face it, Carl was right, we got the busty twin. If we trade him, it had better be for someone who can actually earn playing time.

Instead he was off goofing around getting in trouble. People saying that he didn't get enough playing time were not paying attention.

not sure how he can ever develop being 3rd on the depth chart. RGV?

I remember some interview with Morey saying he would need to work hard just to make the rotation. That's very low expectations for a lottery pick.

In Marcus Morris' case, i don't necessarily blame Morris. I blame the Rockets scouting department. This is ridiculous. If couch GMs like myself were screaming Leonard, Brooks, Faried and are right over professionals, then something is horribly wrong. They need to do a better job this time around. No matter what picks we have, if the right players are chosen with them, they can make a difference.

The Rockets scouting department is excellent. I don't think the Rockets expected Morris to contribute much in 2012 for a variety of reasons, however I do believe they expected him to be more mature and professional.

You are right. The Morris pick got me to face palm so hard I bruised.

I'll add this to the collective MM doubt, if only to fuel his desire to improve: from what I've seen of him, he doesn't look like part of the solution to any of our team's problems. Just another draft pick wasted on a tweener, too small to excel at the 4, too slow & unskilled at dribbling and passing to excel at the 3. Just a low-percentage ball-stopper.

And, if he sticks on our roster, how I do hope he'll prove me wrong!

He may be a 4, period. Nothing wrong with that. The guy has post skills that never got used this year. Sticking him in the corner on offense is silly. To scout this guy and not let him post was baffling.

We picked Morris based on potential, since if he developed he could be a mismatch at the SF position. Leonard and Brooks didn't seem to have much upside though they were almost sure to be solid role players.

Unfortunately, so far Morris looks like a bust.

Who would y'all rather see at the back-up 4: MM, Patterson, or Carl Landry?

Maybe Morey & co. can fix their mistake in this draft.

If they don't trade away all of their picks chasing stars who won't help our situation at all.
