    4 60 should make DMO's agent laugh and hang up the phone. Combo bigs with his skill and improvement will get paid much more.

    LOL. I could not agree more. But I do think that Morey should try. This free agency period has demonstrated that NBA players thirst for predictable future earnings. Only the mighty like LBJ and Wade (foolishly) are willing to take 2 year offers with the second year option of player opt out. Or a single year at $20M like Wade.

    YES. I already asked why we haven't heard anything about extensions yet. This year and the next is the only time is not wise to let your RFA's to go test the market but must be locked up and tempted with security ASAP. But it seems that his cap hold will not make it possible for us to go after Durant if we extend him.

    morey would rather pay him 4-80 and have the extra $8m from his cap hold than pay him a 4-60 extension.

    Realistically what package can we offer by ourselves? this smells like a 3 team deal w/ us and Denver we dont have the assets the Lakers have

    The lakers? Probably Clarkson I cant imagine Ty Lawson at this point having any higher asking price.

    Lakers aren't going to offer Clarkson or Randle or both. They could've made that offer prior to Wednesday and Denver would have accepted it. They didn't. Now Denver just wants him gone without having to take on extra salary. Lakers can offer nick young and some of their minimum salary guys. ......if they actually want him. But they are probably in the same position as us. They want one less year on his deal so they can dump him if they need to.
