who would have thought MDA would be so magical with Harden. I thought it was going to be a mediocre season last season. honestly I have to credit FO for putting together the parts to fit MDA too. People were very iffy on Ryno and Gordon, but they are perfect for Harden and the system.

still think McHale hiring was not smart, should have just kept Adelman, he would have done wonders with Harden

James Harden is the playoffs has a better: WS%, Rtg, OWS%, DWS%, TS%.

Kobe Bryant has a slightly higher PER (22 to 21), but has a far higher usage% (31% to 26%). In other words Bryant played a lot of ISO.

Bryant didn't even make the playoffs the last 4 years he played, so his playoff statistics are not diluted.

In other words, Bryant is viewed as the better playoff performer because his team won. That tends to happen when you have the best player in the world in his prime (Shaq) and later the top young center in the game (Bynum) and one of the 2-3 best power forwards in their prime on your team (Gasol).

Yes, he was set up for failure but historically MDA is not a coach that takes blame or responsibility either. When it is a bad situation, he doesn't tend to dig his team out of it.

Right now he is in a great situation. When things are going well, MDA is great.

Most of the concerns with dantoni stem from his lack of playoff success. He still has to prove this system can work in the post season before he can be deemed a success.

Though he got screwed that one year in the conference finals (I think) when Nash had to leave the game after getting decked.

"We" is the General Consensus of this forum. Maybe your opinion was different, but it's pretty clear who "we" is.
