Fox news isn't a reliable source. They jump on everything even if the story is fake. Like the one with the dentist.
No, the heart continues to beat when you are in a coma. Just my assumption from reading the quotes because of my belief of inadequate doctors over there. Isn't southern Egypt a 3rd world country?
Yeah, unfortunately you get more page hits before the retraction than after it; mix that in with Fox being part of a third-tier news syndicate with a disproportionate amount of foreign outlets and a rightist slant towards jingoism, and this is the "crazy third world" crap you get. You can make an insightful, informative media product with a conservative bias: the financial journalists have been doing it for over a century; but when you couple it with a focus on cheap ratings you get a garbage product.
That's what I was thinking...they probably didnt' even know what happened to him. Ridiculous page-hit-seeking story is ridiculous.
Guys, you can have a heart attack at any age...just because youre young doesnt mean you cant have one, lol. The worst thing about this thread is that I just found out the dentist story was false. I told that story to so many of my patients.
Yeah, but most people don't have one that early without some previous rare medical condition or morbid obesity. The chances of a healthy 28 year old suddenly having a heart attack are slim as hell...probably like 1 in 10 million...and the chances of that heart attack killing them is probably pretty slim too.
You want some news. Check out the 49 mutilated bodies they found near Monterrey. That **** cray but is the norm over there.
Ok, sure...but who said he was a healthy 28 year old? There are plenty of unhealthy 28 year olds in the world. EDIT: Also, the younger you are, the better chance a heart attack kills you...so saying there is a slim chance he'd get a heart attack may be correct, but saying the chances of that heart attack killing him are slim too, is false. There is an increased chance to dying of a heart attack when younger.
