I wish Malick would see this website. All the hype would at least make him smile, then he would do a rolleyes.

He won't get to carry Yao's luggage for at least 1 year (my bet is 2 years).

Do you really need to be effective to take Collie's place? I think you just need to be tall and have a pulse...

    And he has the pulse!

If given the opportunity, I'll bet that Malick makes the roster this year. We're that bad at the four spot.

I also have an intuition that being great has a lot to do with being unbelievably competitive. The first round is filled w/ prima donnas that have had structured training, but this guy has Rocky in the snow written all over him.

Turn him loose Gumpy! Turn him loose!!

I wonder if he'll be as good as Carlos Rogers.

Carlos was decent when he could play - but he was perpetually injured.

Jeez, we did the best we could with that Lousy Pick (he should have stayed out of the Draft), so Mr Cuban could grab him for peanuts, maybe. I really don't think he's anything more than another FIRE under EG's butt.......Dude come on

I'd keep him on the roster just to erase the memory of seeing Collie in black socks one game...*shiver*

Anyways, placing him in some second tier German league doesn't do him or the Rockets any good.

But will it match the awe inspiring sight of Jason Collier sporting a headband? This I doubt.

    Thank me later

I'm all the way on this one: Embarass Eddie.

We need a ball-to-the-wll interior defender.

There'll probably be a Malick bobblehead out by February. Or maybe a celebriduck...

You disagree w/ the tally Smeg? You can't stop Malick Mania!!!

You need to be inspired. I feel that you are judging Malick b/c of the # of his pick. The second round matters not. Look at Cuttino. Judge Cuttino by his draft position, do you? And well you should not. For Cuttino's ally is his will to succeed. And a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we... not this crude matter. You must feel the will to succeed around you. Here, between you... me... the tree... the rock... everywhere!

jo mama, yeah I was originally turned on to Chinua Achebe's writings back in the early 90s in an African Authors class. He's a great writer imo.

You sound like the architect from the Matrix Reloaded Achebe...but back on topic, Badiane most likely won't be playin next season for the Rockets. If he does he'll have Collier type production in Collier-like minutes.
