Look, he didn't do anything different than he's done his entire career. The disappearance in the playoffs was predictable. But even more the truth of it is that none of it matters anyway because we can't compete with the upper tier right now even if his playoff performance matched his regular season performance. I'm fine with him being on the roster until such time that we secure another elite talent.
You guys do know he does the best that he can, right? Ryno can hit 3's better than a lot of guys. Is he worth 60 million? I don't think any of the players are worth the money they get, so he is no different. To play a game of basketball for a living and make more than a million dollars is just easy money, and not work. People pay to "work out" on a daily basis, and "pay" for trainers to help them in facilities "half" as nice. They do this before or after working 8 to 12 hours a day, with their commute to their job. Maybe Ryno will stay healthier than Mello. Maybe he is a better teammate, and a nicer guy to work with. I hope he does great this year with CP3 in to mix it up a bit.
