Very possible but this is AS cheap as they come. The guy can put up numbers.

For anyone telling he cant shot, 52% on 2's and 37% on 3's this season, anytime player show signs of breaking out on Magic they trade him for nearly nothing, amazing.

 

that team is still horrible. particularly their front line. the numbers dont matter when youre putting them up for a terrible team

Of course, but it's not like they can't sign a couple max guys. Suns made a great trade whether people want to agree or not. Suns can only do so much. So I'm giving them props. They won't be competing for anything anytime soon but it's a start towards building a playoff team.

 

context. his volume of 3 pt shoots is not significant. he can't shoot.

How cheap it is depends on protections .

Early second round picks are probably equivalent ( value wise ) to first rounders in the low 20's .

Most GM's would rather have pick 32 than 25 .

Everyone except Devin Booker has been trash so far. With Josh Jackson showing some promise lately.

Payton is pretty good, putting up 18.2 PER as a 23 year old. If he lands in the right organization/system he could definitely take the next step and be a top 15 PG.
