Yeah, i don't see them pay well together, and Oladipo will be paid next season, i'm not even sure he'll still be in OKC by the end of the season...and Ily at the 4 (if they're going to keep him) is meh
Disagree. They're worse defensively. Who plays PF? Ghostface? Kanter? Thats not scaring GS. So they patch up one positional hole on defense to open up another one.
Good trade for OKC They needed to shake up the roster, they had gone as far as they could with Serge who just hasn't improved in years. Definitely needed wing help
Seems like OKC comes out the winner at first glance. I think Sabonis is going to be a solid pro for many years.
oladipo will have trade value and can be flipped in the upcoming season. the same can't be said for ibaka. basic nba understanding
I get the feeling OKC knew Ibaka was leaving next summer. Ibaka seems like the kind of guy who values where he lives more than how much he wins.
The comparisons to Waiters are so spot on. Player A - 6'4" 220 lbs 15.9 ppg, 3 assists, 36% from 3s, 1.3 threes/game 43% from the field Player B - 6'4" 210 lbs 16 ppg, 3.9 assists, 34% from 3s, 1.4 threes/game, 43% from the field Player A is Waiters last season when he was the 2nd scoring option Player B is Oladipo last year
I love how theres always so much drama and rumors regarding what darel maury is doing and then nothing significant at all happens but more image damage. But other teams have zero diva gm drama rumors and then bam! A big trade that make them a better team. Morey is all style, no results, dude is a diva and fans eat it up every year. Rox fans more happy with annual trade rumors and future offseason targets than actual winning. Pathetic.
