does not matter, OKC were going to trade for potential with or without Durant. This is a change of generations. They made the call earlier than later You cannot be the Spurs every year and hoping your old stars would perform It is not going to work for every team, heck most of teams.
It is...but what else they have? That frontline works if you have a superstar or two in the backcourt/swing spot, otherwise, waste of time..
I am actually more worked up over the Rose to NYC trade.... lmao He does not fit there as a Bull semi legend.
This instance was referring to his FREE AGENT signing to the Bobcats. Given that Al is on the tail-end of his career, the relevancy may not be there. However, I don't see Serge doing 14ppg and 10rpg in Orlado. Any season. You can sig that. (Kinda hope I'm wrong because I've always like Big Al, but his numbers are going to decline quicker than if he were at many other places).
#1. where is the homer guy in the dish that was telling me ibaka would be hard to trade to free up cap space ?????? OKC turned down a 9th pic and then got a stretch 4 and young playmaker, but he thought they couldn't even clear cap on a salary dump for ibaka #2 why okc GM not running around saying how easy things are to get in 1st round like morey is ???? he just made a move no media talking all that bs --------- les seriously needs to get rid or have a REAL sitdown with morey
Oladipo is not that different than Waiters though, better defender but needs the ball, his shot is meh...and who's gonna play the 4 now? Ilyasova?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Kevin Durant has not indicated any type of lean toward the Thunder, leaving or staying. Ibaka trade was made independent of that, I'm told.</p>— Anthony Slater (@anthonyVslater) <a href="https://twitter.com/anthonyVslater/status/746150956849455105">June 24, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
My thoughts exactly. Think about it, how is Oladipo that much different from Reggie Jackson? Oladipo and Westbrook could really clash. They needed a veteran, not another young guy who may or may not fit.
Also, Ibaka is a UFA after next season? WTF were the Magic thinking? Silver. Basketball Reasons this, seriously...this is a horrible trade in every single way for the Magic.
Mark my words, in a few years, the consensus best player in this deal will be sabonis. It's uncanny how much he reminds me of his dad. He doesn't have the highest vertical around but he has seriously good footwork. Could easily see him putting up zbo numbers if he works on his boxing out fundamentals
Lmao they got 100x worse defensively Ibaka could switch onto smaller guards now who does that at the 4 spot? Ersan? lmaoooo
