I mean i guess the Thunder win the trade but... Oladipo is NOT a good shooter, athletic sure but hes not that great IMO Ilyasova.....come on hes alright i guess might or might not get playing time and Sabonis looks good but hes a rookie
Oh most definitely because how he's going to have to reassess the team again. But the team isn't losing a lot like when they traded a Top 10 player in Harden. And there's not point in trying to get a trade for him in February if they're not going to re-sign him next summer.
I, echo the sentiments of most. Granted we don't have all the specifics, but it appears OKC bent over the Magic.
This has Al Jefferson written all over it. Was a top 8 PF in the league--> one bad trade--> 15-20 PF in the league.
A backcourt of oladipo and Westbrook is pretty legit. Oladipo can go back to being a defensive specialist without having to do too much like in Orlando. Great upgrade in the backcourt
right and if Durant leaves? idk if this trade makes him want to stay or leave? if hes gone...then they suck lol
I don't like the trade that much for OKC, I view Ibaka higly, the ability to stretch the floor, rebound and play defense like he does is very special. Oladipo is expiring next year just like Ibaka, Sabonis is a prospect, and Sova is just a MLE level player. They traded the better player for smaller assets, I don't like that for the position their in. I think Magic won this trade.
orlando screws their rebuild while okc doesnt move the needle and trades away big piece of chemistry. also dont forget okc has no spacing now
