I had him in fantasy last year so I wasn't really planning on taking him this year, now I'll definitely stay away.

Megatron is better than Dre. Dre is great and a sure-fire HOF'er still in his prime, but Megatron isn't human.

I don't think Johnson is a HoF'er and he's certainly not a sure-fire HoF'er; not if Cris Carter and Tim Brown can't even get in.

If he's not an integral part of at least one championship, I think he'll be viewed as a very good receiver who never elevated his team, leaving him on the outside looking in. He'll have a lot of catches and yards but an insanely low career TD total, including (presently) zero double-digit TD seasons, which is just cray-zee. To give some persepective, Megatron already has 3 fewer career TDs in 46 fewer games.

Carter, Brown, Moss and Owens are ahead of him. Right or wrong, I think most HoF voters would put Fitzgerald ahead of him. He'll have to compete in the same era as Calvin Johnson, who's final numbers are on an insane pace. And then there are the similiarly good guys with passionate cases: Torry Holt, Drew Pearson, Cliff Branch...

I think he's going to struggle to get in.
