I agree with the court vision but then that is all he has. Cant play defense, cant hit a jumper yet. He needs time to develop and he will in the d-league. You could however make a case for "anyone but Douglas" but I am a Tony Douglas fan and feel he can at least play defense and so can complement Lin to a degree.
Thats not true. He has good penetrations to the basket, he has just been completely devoid at finishing. His 7% shooting percentage is bound to go up

It's unfortunate: McHale has given Douglas his full confidence, but D can't buy a bucket. And the game is, all about....buckets.
If they do happen to play Machado any time soon, they had better surround him with good help defenders.
Yeah, but Machado can't defend or shoot, that is why he went undrafted, if he could at least play some defense or make some shots to keep other teams honest, he'd get PT. The D-league can't come soon enough so that he and White can get the chance to improve their abilities.
I agree that Machado isn't a very good shooter right now. Having said that, I can shoot better than TD's 7/0 2pt/3pt FG%. I'm almost certain that Scott can do better than this. Write all your elected officials and petition for Machado's release. Free Machado! Free machado!
