Considering Hardens and Parsons defensive woes, should we be looking at trading parsons and signing luol deng this summer? Im curious to see how much he would ask for considering the Rockets are going purse Love/Melo/Rondo. He's an excellent defensive player who can also score when asked to, but this team doesn't have problems scoring, its the defense. In my opinion, he would be great fit with this team. Thoughts CF?

No more Asian players! No Luol Deng! No Jeremy Lam! No David Lee or his brother Courtney Lee! No Tony Park!

    Jeremy Lin is enough!

Deng takes too many inefficient mid-range jumpers. Morey can't be having that.

Parsons tries to take on too much responsibility on defense. Starting PF is the main problem right now. Jones is always out of position, it kills his teammates.

Pair Parsons with a another forward with good defense and we'll love watching this tag team.

    So racist Carl.

Luol Deng is European, not Asian. So he can't play defence anyway - why bother getting him to play D when he genetically cannot????

I think Ariza would be a better cheaper option.

    Yeah I agree.
Spend the majority of the resources on someone like Rondo and then you can fill in a good 3&D SF like Ariza or even Green at a cheaper price than Deng.

Thanks for this!! A poster should know the nationality of the player they want on the team. That said I think Deng would be a good fit on this team maybe get a trade with Cleveland to include Jarret Jack. The thing with Morey is he wants a 3rd star, but Miami barely won against a good team with 2 stars and good coaching. Houston would be better off adding depth and improving on offensive efficency and defense, than going all out for C. Anthony and maybe even Rondo.

Just to stir the pot if Harden needs the ball so much and that is believed to be a problem with Rondo in Houston maybe we should let James and Parsons be our play makers and get really good defenders to compliment him. One that is a Celtic and can be had for cheap is Avery Bradley. He may not be too difficult to acquire and adding him to our current core would definitely upgrade this team.

Rather go for Lowry if were going to drop 8-10 mill on a FA, also rather go for Ariza on the cheap if going for a wing defender.

Only if he's in shape. If he's in shape I know he's ready to commit to playing defense. In my opinion he's better than Chandler but I'd love to see the training camp battle
