Don't get me wrong, would love for Scola to retire a Rocket. But what would he bring to the PF position? We are in need of a good PF but he doesn't rebound well, probably can't get up and down the court like the rest of the team, and doesn't spread the floor. Don't need him at C with Capella, Nene, and Harrell manning those positions Let's spend the cap space wisely
I dont think anyone would consider you being a buzz kill. I think everyone who saw those early 90's team would agree. (me included) However, since those years I would say the 07-09 teams were my favorite. That 04-05 team was legit as well.
Scola would be our 2nd best rebounder behind Capela - he may not be a starter in the league anymore but if you needed 20 good solid minutes ala David Lee in San Antonio he can give you that. DD
Scola was a true warrior for RedNation . He put on his armor and proudly marched into battle every night.
2016 - 2017 Luis Scola Heatmap 2015 - 2016 Luis Scola Heatmap Ok , I agree that his 3 game has significantly increased. But can he rebound or provide an inside presence on the defensive end? I think that's what we need at the backup PF position since we already have 3 C's already. We can't continue to play Ariza or Decker at backup PF. What if Anderson goes down?
True. Dekker is a 3 and not a 4/pf at least not yet.. he's too weak for PF in the NBA. I've been saying we need a BIG PF who plays D. Doesn't need to shoot threes either!!
I would be thrilled to add Scola for a playoff run. He can give you 15 solid minutes in a high intensity atmosphere in a pinch. MAKE IT HAPPEN.
