We should've grabbed him before KJ. He can spread the floor and bang inside! So happy he's in Toronto though of all places, reunited with Lowry. Not sure McHale would know what to do with a similar player like him ;)

    So far Scola is averaging 9.0rpg in 23.3mpg... That's like 13.5rpg PER36.

I so wanted him. I believe he could have put us close to being over the top or perhaps over the top

    1. Veteran leadership
    2. Strengthens our weakest position
    3. An option when Harden is off. Throw to him in the low post
    4. Harden - Scola pick n pop with two shooters on the wing and Dwight for the oop
    5. Same as above with Ty

    Come back LUIS!!

One of the more underrated pickups in the offseason.

    He compliments Valaciunas, very well.

Surprising to see he picked up his rebounding past couple years

Wish we had him. Could use him right now.

It's not like he had much athleticism to lose. So he's more clever and wise than ever while more and more players come into the L without fundamentals. In that way, I'm wondering if it kind of makes sense. ?

We've already got a better version of Scola (DMo), but I still think we could've used him. Unfortunately, we just didn't have a way to sign him.

Trade TJones and KJ McDaniels for Scola. I always hated him being let go. Scola deserves to be back and retire as a Rocket.

Scola has always been a good rebounder. As flat-footed as he is, it's a testament to his techniques.

He's a true stretch 4, hitting threes, 4/6 for the year.

Not really. He was pretty mediocre towards the end here

Yeah, his last year as a Rocket wasn't that good, for whatever reasons. After he left, his minutes dropped but his per 36 minutes rebounding has been constantly solid. Scola is not a spectacular rebounder. But he has been solid his whole career except for that last season with the Rockets.

I think it's the other way around. With the way our team is right now, Scola deserves to stay away from this mess. More like do we deserve him back.

    I stand corrected.

Looks like he dodged a bullet.
