He didn't make a difference lol.

I think people are going to be disappointed if they think he'll fix the defense.

the defense before he got injured was a mirage (despite him being a good defender.) We were giving up somewhere in the top 3 of open looks from 3 in the entire league despite teams hitting one of the worst percentages. All that has changed is now teams are hitting those open shots and they aren't being stifled when they iso Anderson (which was also a flukeish start to the season.)

I like Mbah a Moute, I'm not knocking him, just pointing out that this team has major defensive issues.

The best thing for our defense is for Harden to come back and the offense to play well. The more half court we can force the other team to play the better because we can't handle when the offense is moving and attacking.

The team has historical been horrible in transition defense thats where scoring or getting to the FT line helps tremendously. Hopefully Harden comes back 100% healthy and this team and gel once again.

As for Luc I thought he did well with his post defense. He was probably the best post defender against Blake in the second half and caused a few turnovers. He still cut and slashed to the rim which is something the other guys dont do often enough. His shot was off but its his first game after missing over a month and coming off a shoulder injury its going to take time to get back into rhythm and game shape.

Not a great game for Luc. Think he was active with his hands when Lou Williams was trying to get in the pains. Shooting was off for him last night. Worst than I expected, but nothing to be worried at all. If anything I feel he can impact even more.

Now, i was expecting to see more defense with him aboard, was not the case.

Actually no. He was rusty more than anything. And the only way to knock off the rust is by playing. He also attacked the basket and fell to the ground. That was good to see, psychologically, to overcome the shoulder injury.

Luc was ok. He will be better with each game.

Agree! was not pretty, but there is no other way. Bettter to have the team fully healthy and go from there.

Disagree. He was rusty but already the best Rockets defender. He's our best defender and his D is very much needed.
