    Linked here

First UT and North Dakota and now LSU, wonder what law enforcement is going to do about these.

    Start ignoring them?

The day someone puts an actual bomb on campus with the intent to blow it up, there won't be a warning.

It would seem people who haven't studied for their exams are getting better at making excuses to push back exam dates....

Exactly what happened at my high school. Again and again. You could almost schedule a free period knowing there would be a bomb threat. This was just after 9/11 so everyone was still on edge and super sensitive.

First they would call in bomb threats from the pay phone within the school. The school subsequently removed the pay phone. So then they decided to start calling them in on their cell phones (and of course these morons were quickly caught, but hey, at least they didn't have to take that test!).

Wouldn't be surprised if kids these days are making bomb threats with their iPhones. Gotta be an app for that.

Think of it this way, if its fake and you evacuate you have nothing to lose.
Sure, there 99% probably won't be a warning if there were a real bomb, but you have to consider the 1% chance that its not a hoax.

Again, there is nothing to lose when being extremely precautionary.

What happens when real terrorist are making false threats all over the US to campuses, football games, etc all the time? I would not want to be the one dealing with that problem.

I have no problem with evacuations. It is better to be safe then sorry. Just Ironic that it happened at 3 campuses in 1 week

It's also possible that its a third-party pranking all of these universities by making these calls.

I don't have a problem with evacs either, but when it's false alarms then it's a problem.

1.) if it's real terrorism, I don't want to live life each day wondering if this is really a bomb.
2.) if it's kids being dumbasses, there really should be harsh punishments for this.

Bomb threat makers seem to be like these idiots in the Hangouts when one stupid thread title spawns another 5 or 6 similar ones.

Or the Islamaphobes in the D&D, when one Islam-bashing thread spawns 5 or 6 similar ones.
