His point/assist averages don't necessarily jump out, but his efficiency and impact is just off the charts.

    22.2 PPG
    7.2 APG
    5.0 RPG
    1.6 SPG

    48.0% FGs
    44.4% 3PTs (on 7.4 3PT attempts per game)
    82.8% FTs

Been on an absolute tear this season. Really have to watch Raptors games to see his true value. One of the highest basketball IQs in the games as well. Hopefully he can actually be consistent in the playoffs.

His 3pt shooting is 2 tiers above his own average in the past 5 years or so. Not sure if he can sustain that. But he's done that before. He jumped 10 percent points from one season to the next and stayed on that level for good. But still, improving from 27% to 37% is one thing. Improving from 37% to 44% is totally different. He's shooting better than guys like Redick and Dudley who don't need to create their own shots.

Lowry and DeRozan are the NBA version of Biggio and Bagwell.

We'll see. Kyle has a history of wearing down in the second half of the season. I don't expect those efficiency numbers to hold up, as much as I love Lowry.

And Vince was pretty damn nice the year he took AI's Sixers to Game 7.

I remember when Kyle played for the Rockets the knock on him was that he couldn't shoot. Now he's one of the best three point shooters in the league. How did he make it happen? Countless hours of repetition in the gym.

Contract year. He wants that 25 mill a year money!

He will chill the rest of his career.

Extension year actually. Eligible for a 5 year 200+ million extension if I'm not mistaken.

When he was a poor shooter for the Rockets, teammates said he shot the lights out in practice. I think it was mental.

Kind of bullsh-t - Kyle Lowry's whole game has been pretty consistently reliant on heart/hustle/whatever you want to call it for the 10 years or so he has been in the league. He leaves it on the court so to speak as much as anybody.

I guess you can pretend like he's going to all of a sudden become an indolent slacker but more likely his body will start to not be able to take the pounding anymore and he'll have to rely more on guile.

I think he meant when Lowry became a FA a couple of years ago and the Rockets insulted Lin by putting up Melo with the #7 - we already had Harden at that point.

If Mr. Jackup shoots 44% from 3pt and 48% overall, jackup shots all day!

To think the Rockets had both Lowrey and Dragic at the same time, but let them go. Morey is good at his job, but sometimes he just plain gets lucky, because letting Dragic walk and parting ways with Lowrey were head scratching moves.
