So do you think schools should be allowed to recruit using any available means? Schools are raping young kids with tuition hikes, and using that money to start giving athletes more and more expensive gifts to compete with each other for players?

I really don't care about the prostitution, etc. but I really think there is an amateurism of college sports here in the states that has been violated and turned into a money machine at the expense of the students there to learn and get an affordable education.

Anyway, the story is big for Louisville, but Harrell's involvement or non-involvement doesn't matter (unless and until he testifies). No one is going after him for breaking the law, his eligibility to play in the NCAA isn't a relevant question, and his relationship to the Rockets won't change no matter the outcome. The only way the case is relevant to him is if he somehow ends up agreeing to testify against Louisville, which isn't looking likely at the moment.

Is it right to use sex or money as recruiting tools? No, Hell NO.

However, this is not a secret. This goes back decades as Jalen Rose once said on his podcast show that this was the tactic school uses on him and others.

Head Coach would leave the potential recruits with one of the students on the team and show them what college life is like for couple of days. Well, what do you think college life is about then? Very natually - drinking, drugs, and women are all part of it whether u like it or not. Not always drinking. drugs, or women but it got to be one of those if not more.

Head Coach doesnt really "know" but the expectation is there that these things can happen.

There are way too much money involved with College Sports, this is exactly why the coaches are under so much depress to recruit talents.
